Our story
Different by design.
A neighborhood bar with great drinks and bar food.
The Bar on Baldwin sits at 23 N Baldwin St in downtown Bargersville. It is a bar — beer, wine, cocktails and food — built inside a room that got a lot more attention than most bars get.
The idea is simple enough. Make the drinks good, make the plates worth sharing, and make the room somewhere people actually want to sit for an evening rather than somewhere they pass through.
We open at five, Wednesday through Saturday. Happy hour runs the first hour. After that the light drops, the room warms up, and there is no particular reason to leave.
A neighborhood bar with a little more personality.

01
The room
Charcoal walls, warm light and three arched niches backed in gold trellis tile. Bottles get shelved like objects worth looking at, because they are.

02
The seating
A cognac Chesterfield you can sink into, cream stools along the bar, small tables you can pull together, and black cocktail tables when the room needs to open up.

03
The block
Downtown Bargersville, a few steps of sidewalk and a pair of black benches out front. The gold B on the glass is how you know you have arrived.
